You and your 7- to 9-year-old child are invited to participate in a study examining how children and parents cross roads together in a virtual environment.

To be eligible:
• You and your child must be fluent in written and spoken English
• You and your child must have normal or corrected-to-normal vision and hearing
• Your child must be between 7 and 9 years old

Participation requires two 1.5-hour visits to the Hank Virtual Environments Laboratory in MacLean Hall on the University of Iowa campus. During these visits, you and your child will cross virtual roads individually and together and will complete computerized and manual tasks. Parents or guardians will also complete online questionnaires about their own personality and their child’s personality and behavior.

Compensation: Parents and children will be paid $20 for completing the online questionnaires, $60 for the first virtual environment session, and $60 for the second virtual environment session ($140 total). Free parking is also provided.
